Pamela Layton, CTBS

Pamela Layton brings extensive experience in enterprise and business development to the Parcell Group of companies. Mrs. Layton holds multiple U.S. and European patents pending for the ELA cell and its therapeutic applications. Prior to founding Parcell Laboratories, Mrs. Layton was the founding partner and President of the TriGuard Group LLC, a software-based security information management company based in Boston, MA. Mrs. Layton conceived of and holds the patent for the TriGuard Information Management Network. This software based platform was distributed by DSC, AT&T and other major companies nationwide. Prior to founding TriGuard Group, she provided creative financing structures to domestic and international companies in her capacity at Bankers Trust, Chemical Bank and The Boston Company. Mrs. Layton graduated from Skidmore College as a Periclean Honors Scholar and graduated with distinction from the Bankers Trust Business Management Program. She presently sits on the board of a number of institutions in the greater Boston area.
Jeffrey Gadboys J.D., MBA

Mr. Gadboys has over twenty five years of operations management experience in the airline industry, military and state government service. Prior to joining Parcell, Mr. Gadboys held positions as Flight Operations Manager for Delta Airlines, evaluator for U.S. and NATO flight operations training, FAA Air Program Designated Evaluator, USAF Finance Officer, and Strategic Planner. Responsible for coordinating air carrier operating policies and procedures for over 8,000 pilots, Mr. Gadboys has extensive experience in working with regulatory authorities, development and administration of compliance programs, training program management, and incident investigation. A licensed Florida attorney, he has served as an Assistant State Attorney, civil trial counsel in liability actions, and is a seasoned negotiator and mediator. Mr. Gadboys is a graduate of Cornell University, B.S., University of Texas Midwestern State, MBA, and the University of Florida, Juris Doctor. He is a graduate of USAF Air Command and Staff College, Marine Command and Staff College, Army Special Airborne School and USAF Pilot Training.
Keith D. Crawford, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Crawford and his laboratory were instrumental in the discovery of the ELA cell and he is a co-inventor on the ELA cell patents. He works closely with Mrs. Layton and legal advisors to create a solid intellectual property strategy for the use of ELA cells in a variety of therapeutic applications. Dr. Crawford received his medical training from the University of Texas Medical School and his Ph.D from the Harvard Medical School. After completion of his Ph.D. in cellular biology and immunology, Dr. Crawford completed his post-doctoral training at the Center for Blood Research. Later he took a Junior Faculty Position at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and became the Director of the Center for Molecular Orthopedics. In addition to the ELA cell patents, Dr. Crawford holds two patents on the identification of a novel immune cell population, the isolation of the cell, as well as its use as a cell-based vaccine. Dr. Crawford has received numerous awards for his work from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the NIH and the Department of Defense.
Tim Beals
President
Cellogx, LLC
Tim Beals is President of Cellogx, LLC and member of the Management Committee of Parcell Laboratories. Cellogx was established by Parcell Laboratories to serve as the processing, cryopreservation and storage facility for ELA cell products and services. Mr. Beals’ career as a specialist in cryopreservation systems spans a period of 30 years during which he held regional and national sales, marketing and technical positions with distinguished cryogenic equipment manufacturers, including Cryomed/Forma, MVE/Chart Industries, AGA Gas, and Custom Biogenic Systems. Prior to joining the Parcell group of companies, he was the Vice President of Business Development at New England Cryogenic Center. Mr. Beals’ responsibilities at New England Cryogenic Center included the design and management of the construction of stem cell processing, cryopreservation and storage facilities throughout the world. Mr. Beals is considered one of the early pioneers in cryopreservation freezing systems and contributed to the early designs of both controlled rate freezing and cryogenic vapor storage and shipping technologies. He continues to consult and advise cryogenic equipment manufacturers in designing new applications and solutions for the cryopreservation industry. Mr. Beals received a B.S. degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Quinnipiac College.
Colin White, Ph.D.

After graduating with honors in physiology from the University of Aberdeen (Aberdeen, Scotland) in 2005, Dr. White received his PhD from the University of Edinburgh (Edinburgh, Scotland) in 2009. He then became a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In 2011, Dr. White accepted a faculty position at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, where he was granted a prestigious research award from the United States Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program. In addition, he was invited to join the Faculty of 1000, an online consortium of prominent scientists who appraise published research worldwide. Dr. White’s work has been published in several peer-reviewed articles, presented at national and international meetings of the scientific community, and highlighted in proceedings of the American Society of Investigative Pathology. He is currently an active member of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the American Association of Cancer Research, the Biochemical Society, the International Society of Cell Therapy, and regularly serves as a peer-reviewer for several high-impact journals.
Laura Montgomery
Quality Director

Ms. Montgomery has over 10 years of experience in the quality and regulatory space for biologics and medical devices. Prior to joining Parcell, Ms. Montgomery worked as a Senior Regulatory global Specialist for Harvard Clinical Research Institute where she was responsible for the DAPT project; a Landmark Study to Provide Definitive Data on the Appropriate Duration of Dual Antiplatelet Therapy Following Drug-eluting Stent Implantation. This study enrolled approximately 26,000 patients worldwide, lasted more than four years and was a public-private collaborative effort with four major stent manufacturers, two major pharmaceutical companies, the FDA and academia. Ms. Montgomery also worked at Organogenesis, Inc., where she was the SME for their master cell bank and tissue collection functions. While there, her responsibilities included the submission of a PMA and a BLA on their recently approved cellular tissue product. She was also responsible for the submission and approvals of the master cell banks used for their bioengineered wound healing product.
Maria P. Torosian
Finance Officer

Ms. Torosian has over 30 years of financial management and computer applications experience in the private sector. Prior to joining Parcell, Ms. Torosian has held positions as Corporate Controller, Budget Manager and Accounting Manager at various firms located in eastern Massachusetts and also served as a private Business Consultant. Ms. Torosian has a B.S. degree in Accountancy with Honors from Bentley University. Responsible for designing and implementing accounting, computer and business systems and policies in several new companies, Ms. Torosian brings her extensive experience in the areas of finance and human resources to the Parcell group of companies.
